In an incredibly candid and brave tweet posted by Dirtybird Records founder Worthy, the amazingly talented DJ, producer, and performer announced her change of preferred gender pronouns to she/her/they/them to solidify her transgender status. The newly realized confidence and excitement for the future in Worthy’s announcement radiates from the screen as you read the post.

Referred to as one of the most innovative DJs in dance music, her contributions to electronic music are revered worldwide. Creating earth-shaking hits such as “Beat Mover” and “Pump the Rump” with Yolanda Be Cool, Worthy has been in the scene for over 15 years since becoming one of the original founders of Dirtybird Records.
