GRIZ ANNOUNCES GRIZMAS 2020 FUNDRAISER FOR DETROIT’S INNER CITY YOUTH

Future-funk producer GRiZ is bringing his mantra — “Show Love Spread Love” — to life this holiday season. From December 12-23, GRiZ will be broadcasting ’12 Days of GRiZMAS,’ a yearly philanthropic effort bringing together EDM’s biggest names to empower children through music.

For the first time ever, fans across the globe can participate in activities, community service and live performances via Twitch and Zoom. This unique offering breaks down barriers and connects the EDM community to local youth in ways we have never experienced before.

In 2015, the city of Detroit awarded GRiZ the ‘Spirit of Detroit’ after raising $30,000 for Detroit youth. Over the past two years, GRiZMAS has grown exponentially — raising over $200,00. With the help of local non-profit Seven Mile, GRiZMAS aims to provide support to children within Detroit’s public education system with funds for students’ music, art and coding education.

Starting this Saturday, December 12 — GRiZMAS debuts with “Killer Crafts & Cocktails” from Standby Detroit mixologists followed by Holiday Jazz Stream with GRiZ & Friends, Digital Charity Auction, Bake Cookies with Mama GRiZ. The fundraiser concludes on December 23 with GRiZMAS Mini Digital Festival featuring GRiZ alongside Destructo, AC Slater, Blunts & Blondes and more.
