MAU5TRAP UNVEILS DRIVE-IN TOUR WITH DEADMAU5 AND TESTPILOT – [READ]
Over New Years weekend, deadmau5 and his techno alter ego, TESTPILOT, will be holding a 3-day residency in San Bernadino, California — the latest installment of Insomniac’s Park ‘N Rave series — and follow with 2-nights of live performance as deadmau5 in Chula Vista, California and 1-night in Fort Worth, Texas.
Deadmau5 makes his first drive-in appearance since August in his native Canada. Since then, he’s launched his own live streaming platform — mau5trap tv, which was launched with a set from TESTPILOT in a 3-d rendered futuristic nightclub.
Insomniac is offering a contactless, outdoor drive-in experience with full production from Thursday, December 31st to Saturday, January 2nd at NOS Events Center. Then, the following weekend on Thursday, January 7th and Friday, January 8th at North Island Credit Union Amphitheater Lot and Saturday, January 9th at Texas Motor Speedway, which will feature the largest HD LED screen in the country.

Deadmau5′ latest releases include features from Kiesza on “Bridged By A Lightwave,” which was dropped with 3 different versions – original, radio edit and alternative mix. Kiesza delivers heart-wrenching lyrics and crisp highs over deadmau5′ dynamic production. The original track combines modern dance with deadmau5′ signature club sound in a track spanning over 9-minutes. While the radio edit is a shortened version of the original, the alternative mix offers a new, progressive-house sound that leads the listener wanting more.
Prior to the 3-track release, Chad Hugo and Pharrell Williams of The Neptunes collaborated with deadmau5 on “Pomegranate.” The musical geniuses who inspired 21st century sound returned to the recording studio to create a fully-immersive track with elements of funk, disco and electro-pop available in Dolby Atmos through Amazon Music HD and TIDAL HiFi.
