COMPUTA GLITCHES THE SYSTEM WITH NEW “DARK DATA” EP

Computa returns to Bassrush Records to drop his new four-track EP, a tantalizing collection called “Dark Data”. Another talented emerging producer from Philadelphia, Computa released his first track, “32bit” ahead of his EP. This single perfectly showcases his sound design and mechanical-sounding style.

While “32Bit” has an ascending tone in notes, “BTB” feels as if listeners are descending into a technological mosh pit party. Joining the party is collaborations from good friends MATT DOE and Slippy on the second half of the EP. Computa and Slippy team up for a smasher of a track called “Hit It” giving us some heavy and dangerous vibes.

Meanwhile, MATT DOE enters the chat bringing some funky flair to “Move Like Dat”, most recently featured in Blunts & Blondes’ EDC Virtual-Rave-A-Thon set. Check it out!

With only a few appearances at drive-in raves from Computa, we can’t wait for this pandemic to be over to hear “Dark Data” back in music venues. Until then, stream the full EP below.

An Atlanta gal chasing her love for electronic dance music. I’ve been with Exron since 2018 and have the privilege of contributing to the culture alongside other badass women whom I now call my friends. My introduction to the scene was first influenced by trap music, but my discography has since expanded to touch a bit of everything. Some of my favorite artists are Zeds Dead, Cloonee, Nghtmre, Flume, Infekt, Sosa, Bleu Clair, Subtronics, but the list goes on forever.
