CHRIS LAKE AND ARMAND VAN HELDEN DROP FIRST SONG OFF COLLABORATIVE EP “THE ANSWER”

Chris Lake, British electronic music producer and DJ, unexpectedly ran into Armand Van Helden, his childhood idol, at a Miami pool party – and from that moment forward their collab was destined. The duo eventually met up in Miami during the fall of 2019 to get the juices flowing, to procure something spicy.

According to Chris, “… the vibes were flying after we sat down on the first morning, chugging coffee, visualizing what could be made. It was a seriously epic few days, honestly. Of course, this was a huge honor for me as Armand’s production is so, so good. I learned a lot from him.” Armand had similar things to say about the meetup, emphasizing that they “just followed the energy in the room.”

“The Answer” is the title track for Chris Lake’s forthcoming EP, a compilation of four tracks. According to Armand, the mantra for the EP is, “Love is the answer,” a mentality and ideology we all can get behind.
