PHONON CHANGES THE GAME WITH NEW SINGLE “EMME” VIA HALCYON

Kansas-based teen and riddim sensation, Cameron Marshall a.k.a phonon is no stranger to the words “ground-breaking” and “game-changing.” The young artist garnered widespread support earlier this year with landmark tune, “polyriddim.” The masterful composition successfully implemented abstract time signatures to a genre defined by its traditional 4/4 structure.

His latest release,”emme,” is a spiritual successor to “polyriddim.” The song showcases phonon’s extensive music theory and production abilities while paying homage to the jazz fusion music that inspires him. As the single’s artwork and title subtly imply, “emme” is the creative product of self-reflection and what music means to the young artist.
