AVICII BIOGRAPHY OFFICIALLY SET TO RELEASE IN NOVEMBER 2021

The long-anticipated Avicii biography is officially scheduled to be released in November 2021. Tim Bergling – The Official Biography is authored by fellow Swede and award-winning journalist Mans Mossesson. The book celebrates his incredible contributions to EDM and pop music while acknowledging the bizarre circumstances surrounding his death. He is survived by the millions who are moved by the late DJ’s talent.

Mossesson approaches the biography with investigative methodology. The author was intent on the book capturing an accurate and complete picture of Avicii and interviewed his family and friends. With authorization from Avicii Music AB (the company that inherited Avicii’s assets and currently responsible for his brand), the biography honoring the musical prodigy has been confirmed by Apple Books to be released in November of next year.

Avicii began gaining a fan base before he was a legal adult, but really garnered international recognition with his single “Levels” in 2011. He released his album True shortly after in 2013 as he was reaching the height of his stardom. While Avicii continued to produce EDM hits and collaborations with the likes of Madonna and Lenny Kravitz, he decided to stop touring in 2016 for mental health reasons. In 2018, we heartbreakingly lost Avicii when he was found deceased in his hotel room and the cause of death was ruled as suicide. Avicii is remembered around the world by his family, friends and fans.

While his death was premature and tragic, this is not how the world will remember Avicii. His intoxicating energy, unique talent, and inspirational music are his immortalized legacies which fans expect to be captured in Mossesson’s Tim Berling – The Official Biography. The publisher promises the book will live up to the built up hype; “The sound of a generation – the book of a generation.”

The proceeds of the biography will benefit the Tim Bergling Foundation. Founded by Avicii’s parents after his passing, the charity focuses on mental health issues and suicide prevention.
