HALCYON AND SPACE YACHT JOIN FORCES FOR LIVESTREAM IN SUPPORT OF YAKZ AND COOKIE MONSTA

This Sunday, Halcyon and SPACE YACHT will host their first-ever livestream in order to raise funds for dubstep veteran, David Mitori (YAKZ), who is currently battling a life-threatening gum disease.

Thankfully the artist recently met his donations goal, and incoming proceeds will now be donated to Cookie Monsta‘s family.

The virtual event will kick off on Twitch and YouTube at 6 p.m. PST / 1 a.m. GMT, and will feature sets from many of YAKZ’s dubstep comrades, including: SVDDEN DEATH, Oolacile, Aweminus, Ace Aura and phonon.

In addition to the GoFundMe contributions, Halcyon will also donate a portion of merch sales to the cause.

The performance will be filled to the brim with new music, visuals and broadcast from the innovative “Social Sanctuary” venue. The new location offers top-notch live production without compromising COVID-safe measures.

Looking past the flashing lights and rumbling bass, we are reminded that dubstep wouldn’t be the same without the dedicated artists and organizers behind the scenes.
