EDM COMMUNITY RALLIES TO RAISE MONEY FOR IMPERATIVE SURGERY FOR YAKZ

As we all know, the pandemic has brought the music industry to a screeching halt putting a major strain on touring artists. As much as we love the music artists create, we oftentimes don’t think about the lengths and personal sacrifices they go through in order to make the art we enjoy.

Producer and DJ, Yakz (aka David Mitori) is a dubstep favorite in the EDM community amongst listeners and artists. Yakz has long been a part of the community supporting the scene and other artists for many years.

Unfortunately, Yakz has severe Periodontitis and gum disease that at any second could spread to his bloodstream. Born with a heart murmur, doctors are wary that he will not be able to fight off infection if it spreads. In addition to needing medication, he needs 13 teeth pulled with the help of dental offices such as All On 4, 10 bone graft replacements, and 13 root canals with crowns in his mouth.
