AUTOMHATE REVOLUTIONIZES FUTURE RIDDIM WITH “EGO STREAM” EP VIA HALCYON
Italian bass music newcomer Automhate, made his highly-anticipated Halcyon debut last Friday, a mere three years after his first SoundCloud release. The young producer is one of the most exciting talents to emerge from the dubstep underground.
Automhate’s signature style is defined by his uncompromising attention to detail, immersive atmospheric elements, and advanced production. All five tracks offer a tantalizing taste of what the producer is capable of and a glimpse into the evolving dubstep soundscape.
The “Ego Stream” EP marks his second major label debut of 2020, with the first being his “Terminhate EP” via Disciple Records‘ “Round Table” imprint.
The lead single, “Tonal Riddim,” is a groove-driven track that blends minimalist melodic elements with complex percussive rhythms and beat switch-ups. The track is a partial callback to the signature flow of traditional riddim tunes. However, the song really sets itself apart through its masterful integration of infectious melodies and refined bass sound design.
The sky is the limit for the young artist as he shows no signs of stopping anytime soon.
