LUCII REVEALS HAUNTING “WICKED” EP ON WAKAAN – [LISTEN]

Following the release of lead single “Till The Day I Die” earlier this month, Lucii has finally unveiled her sophomore EP on Wakaan. The “Wicked” EP is a four-track masterpiece featuring hard-hitting basslines and vocals from Lucii herself. Each of the tracks offers a unique atmosphere while building off the sonic energy of the previous track. The powerful collab “Wonky” with Point.Blank was created with grimy festival tents in mind. The fourth track, “Vibe”, provides a lighter bass soundscape with a mesmerizing melody and vocals from Lucii.

Despite the circumstances, 2020 has proven to be a highly productive year for the blooming bass producer. Ahead of the “Wicked” EP, Lucii two collaborative singles on Wakaan. “Me and You” with Champagne Drip quickly amassed over a million streams and resonated with listeners across the bass music space. The lead single “Til The Day I Die” quickly captured the attention of bass music fans, already reaching almost 100k streams in less than a month.

Following the release of her debut EP, “Abducted” in 2018, Lucii eventually became the first female producer signed to Liquid Stranger’s Wakaan imprint the following year. Creating waves in the dance music scene since her debut, Lucii’s sophomore EP continues the trend and leaves much to be desired from the budding bass tastemaker. With a ton of backing from her bass superstar girlfriend REZZ and label Wakaan, Lucii is on a sharp upward trajectory.
