NAZAAR AND PIXEL TERROR JOIN FORCES FOR “IMPERIAL” SINGLE VIA BASSRUSH RECORDS OUT NOW
Dubstep up-and-comer NAZAAR, and seasoned bass music duo Pixel Terror teamed up for their debut collab via Insomniac‘s “Bassrush Records” imprint this past Friday.

NAZAAR, a producer widely-recognized for his unique Eastern-influenced bass music, began making waves in 2017 and 2018. The young producer released an official remix for The Chainsmokers, and later received extensive support from artists like Excision and Zomboy. The latter DJ even called NAZAAR a “young & dangerous” artist to keep an eye on during the next few years.
The other contributor, Pixel Terror, is a melodic-driven dubstep duo whose songs are influenced by other genres like drum and bass and electro. Their sound design is chaotic, video game-influenced and crisp.
The duo is synonymous with the Monstercat imprint, after having released 15 songs with them dating all the way back to 2018.
Even though this release marks Pixel Terror’s first release on Bassrush, Insomniac previously hosted them for its “Infinite Skies” livestream in early September of this year.
The energetic, single blends NAZAAR’s traditional Middle Eastern melodies with the cutting-edge growl of Pixel Terror’s futuristic bass. Listen to “Imperial” below:
