FOURTEENBILLION. DEBUTS WITH DANCE POP ANTHEM “ALL FALLS DOWN” – [LISTEN]

Promising new production duo fourteenbillion. has just dropped their debut single, “All Falls Down” on Alacran Records. Featuring East London singer/songwriter Anna Straker’s eloquent vocals, the brand new track is an infectious dance-pop anthem.

“All Falls Down” was written at Spotify’s Secret Genius Studio during the duo’s first ever writing trip to London. From there, they presented it to Anna and it became clear that she was the ideal vocalist for the track.

“We were in the studio, and after a serious night out of partying in London, I guess the hangover and bleary eyes bled into the track,” fourteenbillion. reflect. “It’s about finding the strength when a relationship or friendship ends. I guess every ending doesn’t have to be sad, it can be euphoric in the craziest sort of way. That was certainly the atmosphere on the day!”

Anna’s vibrant vocals combined with fourteenbillion.’s lively production have created an explosive marriage of sound. “All Falls Down” tells a powerful story and certainly has a kick to it. This inspiring track is also paired with a hypnotic music video partially set in space.

fourteenbillion. is a Leeds-based writing, production and DJ duo comprised of brothers Joe and Jack Harvey. The two grew up consuming a balanced diet of 70s disco, 80s pop, and 90s house. They continue to spend time in both London and their hometown studio, aiming to create a striking soundscape that stands out among the rest.

Anna Straker is a musician, vocalist and producer. Her career took shape when she began singing backing vocals on various singles and albums from the likes of Rudimental, John Newman and Years & Years. She’s successfully released a steady stream of singles across 2020, allowing her solo career to continue to thrive.​
