GS5 Releases Energetic House Bop “Questions” – [Listen]

From the icy slopes of Colorado comes GS5, an up-and-coming techno/house producer with a flair for syncopation, sharp percussion, and grime-esque voice overs. With support from AC Slater, DirtyFun, and many others, GS5 shows promise as a producer and creator. He draws his inspiration from artists such as Wax Motif, Malaa, Biscits, Chris Lake, and other heavy house hitters as well as Colorado’s awe-inspiring and rough terrain. GS5’s first release, Resonate, can also be found on Spotify, where it too exemplifies that same quirky hypnotism and repetition he’s adopted as his signature style.

Hailing originally from sunny south Florida, GS5 moved cross-country from Miami to Colorado to focus on his music career and spend time snowboarding, chillin’ out, maxin,’ relaxin’ all cool. When not hopping on and off ski lifts, he plays at local mountain-side house concerts and attends live music events. Like the rest of us, he lives for the wubs and dubs, and even contributes what he can, when he can, and in the style of house and deep techno.

Heralding from sunny South Florida, I am a proud Florida Woman. In my free time, I surf the swamp, wrangle gators, open fan mail, and tend to my pets. In the wild, I'm most often spotted at immersive art spaces, step tappin' in a shadowed corner of the club, hater blockerz on, totally incognito as your resident EDM spice girl. Although I generally tout my spicy side, if there's one thing I'd love to impress upon the world, it would be this: it's not a waste to give love to those who do not deserve it – it's a gift. The world would be a better place if we gave, in kindness and in mercy, to those who need it most with no expectation in return.
