FRANKY WAH DROPS NEW HEATER “YOU DON’T KNOW” – [LISTEN]
U.K. based DJ/producer Franky Wah is back on the release radar with ‘You Don’t Know’, marking his 7th original production of the new decade. The fresh track directly follows his debut 14 track album ‘The Revival, Vol. 1’, released at the end of this May. Out now on the Ministry of Sound Recordings imprint, ‘You Don’t Know’ is available to listen to across all streaming platforms.
Sampling a vocal cut from the 2000 house hit ‘Finally’ by Kings of Tomorrow, the song immediately harkens back to the early days of ‘90’s progressive house music and trance. Emotively anthemic from start-to-finish, the latest tune to come from the Leeds-born talent is a sonic treat.
“’You Don’t Know’ is another record I hold close to my heart,” Franky explains, “mainly because of the emotion I feel when I listen to it. The chords bring an emotional but uplifting vibe to the record and it definitely feels like that, set-closing, hug your friend at the end of the night kind of track. We’ve all experienced very testing times lately and I really hope people can resonate with the lyrics on this one as much as I do.”
