AWEMINUS DEBUTS FIRST INDIVIDUAL ARTIST RELEASE ON HALCYON
Marking the first individual artist release on Halcyon is a two track EP Pacman Bullshit produced by legendary dubstep producer Aweminus. If you haven’t already heard, Halcyon is Oolacile’s promising new label that seeks to provide a platform for dubstep creatives. The imprint acts as a home for some of the most innovative sounds and ingenious minds in the electronic music community.
Specifically, Halcyon is zooming in on the emerging subgenre of future riddim. What better way to set the stage for expectations than with a riddim connoisseur? Both tracks on the EP, the title track and “MUD” flex a very distinctive and complex sound structure. A continuous sub bass line is textured with grooves and glitches that deliver high levels of energy.
