Nitti Gritti Teams Up With Maliboux for Collab Titled “Rock N Roll” – [Listen]

rocknroll

Dub DJ Nitti Gritti teamed up with Maliboux to drop a single today, on the 4th of September. This collaborative release explores the dichotomy between symphony and riddim – a.k.a it’s soothing and soaring in some parts, yet destructive and machine-like in others. The oscillation between violence and ascendence creates a cadence any bass head could appreciate. It’s sweet and spicy with a splash of brain melting womp womp, just for fun.

This drop with Maliboux almost directly follows Nitti’s “All In EP,” released earlier this year in June. The EP features artists such as Emma Jenson, best known for her airy, warm, and cozy vocals, as well as a full roster of talented EDM artists. Although Nitti is usually known for his harder dub, this EP showcases his softer side. And although the EP doesn’t feature riddim in any way shape or form, yet it’s undoubtedly full of slapping drops and mounting crescendos.

Heralding from sunny South Florida, I am a proud Florida Woman. In my free time, I surf the swamp, wrangle gators, open fan mail, and tend to my pets. In the wild, I'm most often spotted at immersive art spaces, step tappin' in a shadowed corner of the club, hater blockerz on, totally incognito as your resident EDM spice girl. Although I generally tout my spicy side, if there's one thing I'd love to impress upon the world, it would be this: it's not a waste to give love to those who do not deserve it – it's a gift. The world would be a better place if we gave, in kindness and in mercy, to those who need it most with no expectation in return.
