DIPLO PARTNERS WITH SMITHSONIAN FOR “MMXX” ASTRONOMY SHOWS
Diplo recently announced his partnership with app Calm to preview five songs from his upcoming ambient album MMXX. The purpose of this album is to raise awareness on the importance of mental health especially as the world is battling a global pandemic among other social issues. The Grammy Award-winning producer pledged that his sales from the new album will be donated to the Beam Collective and The Loveland Foundation.

Additionally, Diplo announced that he will be partnering with The Smithsonian’s AirSpace podcast for a series of limited capacity stargazing shows. This collaboration series is called, “Under Ancient Skies: A Night of Ambient Music and Stargazing”. For four nights, fans in Pioneertown and Big Sur, CA can listen to an ambient set and learn all about astronomy from the experts.
