NOSTALGIX AND ROSE MOTION DROP NEW SINGLE “BY MYSELF” VIA CONFESSION – [LISTEN]

Nostalgix, a Vancouver native, and Rose Martin, a duo composed of Aussie Jamie-Rose and Canadian Malikai Motion, recently collaborated for a release on Tchami’s Confession label. “By Myself” is poppy, yet emblematic of classic house – minimalist but energized. This is the first collaboration from Nostalgix and Rose Martin, all of whom are up and coming artists with bright careers on the horizon.

From mixing in her dorm room to gaining recognition from established record labels, Nostalgix has come a long way. She has dropped tracks via labels such as Dim Mak, Night Bass, In/Rotation, and more, and was listed by DJ Mag as one of “12 Emerging Artists” in February of 2020. In a different vein, Jamie-Rose and Malikai Motion were focused on solo projects centered toward a hip-hop and R&B before meeting at a music workshop where their mutual love for deep house spurred the collaborative Rose Martin.

Although this is their first collab and single via Confession, we hope to see more content and music from this trifecta in the future, especially via platforms sponsored by the likes of Tchami.
