BASS HEAVYWEIGHTS SLANDER AND SVDDEN DEATH UNLEASH EARTH-SHATTERING COLLAB

Earlier today, SLANDER and SVDDEN DEATH released their highly-anticipated track “Blood On Me,” via SLANDER and NGHTMRE’s “Gud Vibrations” imprint.  The collaboration is a roller-coaster of building drums, rising melodies and sinister drops.

Blood On Me

On May 2nd, SLANDER and SVDDEN DEATH debuted an early version of the song during their first-ever back-to-back livestream for Insomniac. Fans speculated whether this unique track would see the light of day or remain an ID forever. (We’re glad they decided to release it, we’re still waiting on the fabled Kompany collab @SvddenDeath!)

The duo contributed its lush vocals and catchy melodies, while SVDDEN DEATH brought his infamous dark bass to the table. The collaboration masterfully blends the two artists’ bright and haunting styles to perfection. This is one of those songs you can play many times over and discover something new on every listen, the mixing is masterful and the layering is great (as expected).

SVDDEN DEATH is no stranger to melodic collaborations, having released two songs with EDM powerhouse, Marshmello. SLANDER has also had its fair share of heavy, boasting collabs with Crankdat, Spag Heddy and Kompany. “Blood On Me” marks another exciting project that brings two distinct electronic subcultures together.

While concerts are out of the question, both artists continue to release music regularly. A recent deciphered translation shows that SVDDEN DEATH will release a song via “Halcyon Sound,” a new imprint spearheaded by dubstep legend, Oolacile.
