BOB MOSES REVEAL ANOTHER SINGLE “THE BLAME” FROM FORTHCOMING ALBUM – [LISTEN]

Out now via Domino is a brand new release from Bob Moses, “The Blame”. The single follows the recent release of their beloved collaboration with ZHU titled “Desire”. Both tracks will be featured on the band’s upcoming Desire EP which is expected for release on August 28th.

“The Blame” is a cinematic masterpiece, borrowing elements of indie rock and deep house genres. It’s mystifying in its melodies yet brutally honest in its words. The overarching message behind the dreamy lyrics is one of experiencing love in our digital age. Nevertheless, the entire Desire collection fits that narrative.

Howie of Bob Moses is heard singing the passionate lines, “I could tell you that my heart beats all alone / tell you that I’ve got no soul / tell you that I lost control.”

In addition, an interactive music video for Bob Moses and Zhu’s “Desire” has also recently been released. Utilizing anaglyph imagery, the video displays two varying sides of desire—pleasure and pain. Viewers can click either side to manipulate the video. If you haven’t already seen it, you can watch the video here.

When they aren’t releasing new music, Bob Moses is staying connected to fans through their weekly livestreamed DJ set on YouTube, the “Bobcast”. Listen to their new track “The Blame” below.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
