GRIZ & FRIENDS TAKING CAMP KULABUNGA TO THE VIRTUAL WORLD

In the past, Camp Kulabunga has been an intimate 4-day retreat curated by GRiZ & Friends, centered on radical inclusion, community, self-empowerment and wellness. However, the 2020 edition will still go on, this year branded as the two-day Virtual Kulabunga.

Don’t be surprised—it’s 2020 and camping online is definitely a thing. Activities like yoga, guided meditation, gong immersion, holistic fitness, special guest speakers and much will be implemented through video conferencing technology (a.k.a. Zoom). Spiritual guru Tori Washington will be hosting a highly sought-after workshop. Not to mention, GRiZ himself will be hosting a creative writing workshop event.

Fans, mark your calendars for the last weekend of August. The virtual camp will take place on August 29th and 30th. The events will not be recorded and posted (as some of us have been used to), so attendees should plan to “show up” during the allotted time periods of 10 AM to 9 PM Eastern Time each day. There will be breaks between streams, and all streams are in real time!

Although early bird tickets with included art supplies and merch have sold out, digital-only packages are still available for purchase. You can register and purchase your digital entry to Camp Kulabunga on their website.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!

What's your reaction?
