Saudi Producer Omar Basaad Shares Airy “Without You” – [Listen]

Omar Basaad, a Saudi Arabian DJ that began his music career in 2002, delivers his third track of the new decade, an airy production featuring poppy vocals and the suspense-inducing ticking of a clock. “Without You” directly follows his productions “Memba” and “Technicolor,” which debuted this past January. Basaad’s style is light and airy, hinting to his strong background in audio-engineering and his Jeddah roots, a tropical Saudi Arabian city on the Red Sea.

Basaad helms his very own record label, Coexist Records, the platform from which he produces and releases all his original tracks. With the rise of EDM in the early 2000’s, Basaad was the first electronic music DJ to represent Saudi Arabia globally, performing at music festivals all over the world, most notably Tomorrowland. And although he’s traveled all over the globe, Basaad’s work is mainly featured in his home base, the world-famous Dubai.
