EXRON PICKS: WHAT LIVESTREAMS TO WATCH THIS WEEKEND

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to separate us from our rave families and live events, livestreams have been persistent in throwing digital festivals and shows so we can virtually connect with our bass heads, favorite artists, and feel united through the magic of music. Per usual, the livestreams are back this weekend and they will not disappoint.

Excision Presents: Couch Lands Episode 2

Not too long ago, we had to deal with the unfortunate news that is Lost Lands 2020 being canceled. Not to worry though, the Couch Lands tradition persists — revealing the artists that would have played at Lost Lands this year, healing the wounds of festival cancellations. Episode 2 of Couch Lands will be streamed on Lost Land’s Twitch Channel on July 11, 5pm ET showcasing dubstep powerhouses such as Blunts & Blondes, Kompany, Wooli, and many more!

Rave Family Block Fest

The world’s largest virtual music festival yet, the lineup is stacked and it will be held in the coolest venue created as it is a digital Minecraft festival. From a distance, you can rage and unite with your Rave Family. There will be plenty of fun over the course of four days, July 9th-13th. Games, dancing, listening to various genres of music-  with 900+ artists and 85+ stages, the possibilities are endless. Is this one too good to be true……? Many issues have been reported since the virtual festival kicked off.

Insomniac Presents: Acid Rave

Insomniac Events have teamed up with i_o to throw a virtual Acid Rave on July 10th, 9:30 PT. There’s no doubt that this virtual show will display one heck of a production, but it also benefits charities like Equal Justice Initiative, Change.org, and many more.

Born I Presents

This virtual festival will feature Jessica Audiffred, Luzcid, Lizzy Jane, and many more. This Born I curated event is meant to capture his vision of “unity through art.” Featuring various artists of different genres, this event will bring people from different backgrounds. Not only will this festival soothe your soul and cultivate energetic vibrations, but it will also benefit BEAM, raising mental health awareness in the black community.

Social Sanctuary Livestream

Social Sanctuary is teaming up with Savage Society to showcase the most compelling dubstep virtual show this Saturday, July 11th. In celebration of their 6 year anniversary, this stream will feature some old, as well as new artists. The stream will begin at 7pm PST on Social Sanctuary’s Twitch Channel.

The choices vary, and the lineups are stacked. It’s up to you to choose how you would like to light up your weekend!
