SANDER VAN DOORN AND LUCAS & STEVE COLLAB ON NEW TRACK ‘THE WORLD’ – [LISTEN]
Dance music trailblazer Sander van Doorn is back with ‘The World’ a collaborative tune he’s produced alongside Dutch house music DJ/producer powerhouse duo Lucas & Steve. The latest addition to the famed Spinnin’ Records imprint, it directly follows Doorn’s ‘Spotlight’ released on the label this May as well as Lucas & Steve’s ‘Letters’. The certified club-ready weapon starts out sonically subdued, with a restrained tone that saves much of its sprightly energy for the eventual hefty bass drop. The track’s vibe quickly shifts in a more percussively driving direction, with the vocals perfectly complementing the hard-hitting house music production elements sprinkled throughout. Stabbing synths, heady soundscapes, and an intoxicating beat characterize much of the release, drawing in the listener with each entrancing build up and bass drop.
