SLANDER TEASES PLANS FOR MELODIC BASS FESTIVAL POST-QUARANTINE

The one thing COVID-19 has given to everyone is time. For artists that are naturally touring through the summer, they now have more time than ever to work on their music. With 2020 already scrapped, some artists are looking towards the future with new endeavors to shape the music scene.

Melodic bass kings, better known as Slander, tweeted about their plans to start their own Melodic Bass Festival. Sounds too good to be true? Well it is and the DJ duo is asking fans for their help in planning it!

With an outer space theme, Slander is asking fans for name suggestions and who they want to see play. The winner for the best idea will receive free passes for life!

Slander plays a wide variety of hard dubstep to light and melodic bass that allows a little something for a diverse audience. By hosting a festival of their own gives them musical freedom to play for a more niche melodic bass audience while giving the opportunity to elevate other upcoming artists in the space.

Drop your best ideas under the comments of the tweet for your chance to win.

An Atlanta gal chasing her love for electronic dance music. I’ve been with Exron since 2018 and have the privilege of contributing to the culture alongside other badass women whom I now call my friends. My introduction to the scene was first influenced by trap music, but my discography has since expanded to touch a bit of everything. Some of my favorite artists are Zeds Dead, Cloonee, Nghtmre, Flume, Infekt, Sosa, Bleu Clair, Subtronics, but the list goes on forever.
