NINAJIRACHI EMERGES WITH COSMIC ‘BLUMIERE’ EP – [LISTEN]
Hailing from Australia, Ninajirachi is known for her electrifying songwriting, production, and vocal skills. The recent release of her Blumiere EP highlights the scope of her innovative and mesmeric soundscape. Composed of 5 cosmic tracks, the body of work overflows with fervor and emotion.
Released via NLV Records on June 5th, she vowed to donate all pre-order sales of Blumiere toward various Australian legal services in support of the international effort for justice. The EP has been in the works for the past six months, and follows the release of her debut EP, Lapland.
It’s apparent that Blumiere represents something totally new a fresh from Ninajirachi. Her refined production techniques and bold message is what prompted “Cut The Rope”, the first track shared from the EP, to top Spotify’s New Dance Beats playlist. It was even featured on Charli XCX’s Beats 1 Radio show, The Candy Shop.
Next came the EP’s title track, which flawlessly merged her vocal capabilities with her profound production style. “Blumiere” boasts a feeling of magic, as it grows from a mystifying melody into an upbeat club tune. Ninajirachi speaks on her journey with creating the track, “Even up until a week or two before it was totally finished it sounded pretty different to how it does now. This song was definitely a lesson in persistence and I’m so glad for it!”
Ninajirachi takes a more honest and personal approach with “Alight”. Her brisk vocals create a dreamlike atmosphere that’s hard not to envy. “Rainbow Train” definitely picks up the pace, again demonstrating her capabilities for a club ready banger.
Lastly, “Tethered To The Body” rounds out the collection by exploring more of a downtempo vibe. Altogether Blumiere represents the fruitful outlet of a tirelessly creative mind. Ninajirachi successfully put her heart on her sleeve in order for this vision to come to life.
