ODESZA AND GOLDEN FEATURES ‘BRONSON’ DROP OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO FOR “HEART ATTACK”

The collaborative project of ODESZA and Golden Features, BRONSON, has debuted their official music video for their hit song, “Heart Attack”.  This track was a part of their first release as an artist collaboration along with their other song, “Vaults.”

BRONSON serves us a rather simple concept but unfolds a story of resilience and perseverance. The music video first pans to a grey cityscape of broken and decaying buildings giving us big dystopian vibes. As hooded female figure emerges from the shadows, she fights the violent winds of the street that are forcing her to take cover.

As the song progresses, we watch her struggles evolve into victory while spectators watch in her glory and viewers find themselves in a trance-like state in rooting for this unknown woman to overcome her setbacks. In such difficult times, BRONSON has reminded us that we must be restless and resilient to see through change.

The music video was created through a process called Blinkink. This process uses 3D animation with live-action motion capture and hand-drawn elements to create an elaborately designed environment. Director Balázs Simon is the genius behind the emotional connectivity of the viewer to experience.

“As we couldn’t assemble a big team together due to lockdown, we needed a less conventional way of doing this, where all departments had to work separately – without really seeing the whole picture! We had to rely on our imaginations. We went out to the empty streets of Budapest and shot camera moves without any subject, then we rehearsed movements in a park, did some motion capture, and from there we took the stay-at-home ordinances to heart – locking ourselves in for a couple of weeks and assembling all the collected data into this video. It was an intensive experience with an amazing team of talented friends, and it made our days much more bearable!” – Simon

We can’t wait for the album coming this July! Check out the full music video below:
