NURKO RELEASES REMIX OF ILLENIUM’S ‘TAKE YOU DOWN’ – [LISTEN]

Nurko is back, hot off the tracks of his recent fire Digital Mirage set! With almost 41k total viewers tuning in, it’s safe to say that many electronic dance music fans have been patiently awaiting the DJ/producer’s next move. Out now on the ‘Ascend’ remix album via Astralwerks Records, his remix of Illenium’s track ‘Take You Down’ is available on all streaming platforms.

The typical melodic dubstep formula Illenium is so well-known for is stripped here and replaced in favor of a unique, intensely uncompromising vibe, courtesy of Nurko’s signature sound. His hard-hitting take on the track highlights his rare ability to effortlessly transform a body of work into something completely different, all without sacrificing too much of the original’s soul. A difficult accomplishment, Nurko makes it seem easy with his driving version of ‘Take You Down’.
