SKRILLEX TO APPEAR ON FIRST LIVE STREAM – REMOTE UTOPIAS FESTIVAL
Legendary American producer, Skrillex is to perform on his first ever livestream on May 2nd, on Remote Utopias Festival which will be broadcasted on NTS’s website. This event will happen over the course of 24-hours over two live channels, mimicking the liveliness and structure of an actual festival.
What’s even cooler is that not only this festival features a variety of musical artists such as Tame Impala, JPEGMAFIA and Four Tet, but it will also showcase other artists, filmmakers, comedians and actors. Functioning as a means of entertainment through a diverse lineup from a range of generations around the world, it also acts as a philanthropic event, as listeners will be encouraged to donate to The Global FoodBanking Network and thanks to the support from Jameson, more than 50 arising and established artists from the NTS residents will be assisted.

Although, Skrillex have been keeping a low profile, he made a discreet announcement over Beats 1 Radio interview on Apple Music and revealed a ton of new music in the works:
“The thing is with this album, every single of piece music [unintelligible] been what I have right then and there and then it was run and gun. This is the first time I’ve really been taking my time, being precious about a few of these releases. But soon, man. I’m doing some videos, making some content, getting ready for these next records. […] I’ve never sat down and been completely tenacious about one of my releases like this.”
