Although he’s been shy lately, Black Coffee fans have much to look forward to in the coming months. He’s due to release a studio album later this year, which will hold the same title as the new single. If the EP is even half as magical as this track, we know we’re in good hands.

‘SBCNCSLY’ is tender and delicate, featuring graceful piano chords with a hint of jazz. Black Coffee layers Claudio’s elegant vocals with a beat that is both steady and jarring. Each verse cuts deeper with its words and with its melody, ultimately creating an irresistible house track that might leave you in your feelings.

Black Coffee is famous for his diversity and global presence when it comes to music. Beginning his long and successful DJ career in South Africa, he’s been able to bring a fresh perspective to venues around the world. Back in 2015, his award-winning album Pieces Of Me allowed him to really explode in the electronic music scene. His career has seen collaborations with notorious artists such as Drake, Usher, Alicia Keys, and David Guetta. Not to mention, Black Coffee is a proud philanthropist and businessman, tirelessly working on his ‘Africa Is Not A Jungle’ initiative.

Every Saturday, Black Coffee hosts his ‘Home Brewed’ live stream as a fundraising effort to support COVID-19 relief charity. Although his worldwide tour and scheduled Coachella performance are currently on hold, fans have enough Black Coffee to keep them energized.

The other mastermind behind ‘SBCNCSLY’ is a half-Cuban half-Puerto Rican musical genius. Claudio stepped into fame with her About Time mixtape in 2017, followed by her Truth Is album in 2019. Her collaborations include DJ Khaled, A$AP Rocky, and Zayn, proving her dominance in the scene.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
