PROXIMITY TEASES PHASE 2 OF DIGITAL MIRAGE VIRTUAL FESTIVAL

Due to the unfortunate circumstances brought by COVID-19, numerous shows and festivals have been cancelled, postponed and rescheduled resulting in sorrow and weeps of bass heads around the world. As an effort to ease this ache, Proximity have teamed up with Brownies & Lemonade an announced the first ever online music festival. And what do you know? it turned out to be a huge success.

This virtual festival took place in Proximity’s YouTube channel, which way projected over a three day period April 3rd-5th which also included 50 artists in the lineup. Funds that was raised from Digital Mirage benefited Sweet Relief Musicians Fund and because of how succesful it was, this virtual festival raised approximately $300,000.

With more than 8.5 million subscribers, there was no doubt in mind that this online festival will make loud roars in the EDM community. Showcasing different subgenres of EDM DJs/Producers, Digital Mirage brought over 4.1 million plays over the weekend.

Because of the accomplishment and happiness brought by this online festival, Proximity responds to the highly anticipated round 2 of Digital Mirage Online Festival with a tease. What’s beautiful about this is people around the world  are able to bond with their favorite artists as well as peers from the comfort of their own homes. We still see a sense of community form despite of the pandemic going around and not to mention the amount of funds raised for COVID-19 relief.
