LOUIS THE CHILD REVEAL VIBRANT NEW COLLAB “LITTLE THINGS” – [LISTEN]
In collaboration with Quinn XCII and Chelsea Cutler, Louis The Child has dropped a fresh new single. Titled “Little Things”, this heartwarming track is just what fans need during tough times like these.
As the song comes to live with Quinn XCII’s distinctive voice, a gentle yet infectious melody is played alongside it. It’s not long before the up-and-coming singer/songwriter Chelsea Cutler provides her pristine vocals as well. The two trade off verses and eventually even come together.
“Little Things” radiates a nostalgic and effortlessly innocent vibe, which is archetypal of Louis The Child’s style. It follows the release of “Every Color”, the duo’s recent single. Made in collaboration with Foster the People, it boasts a fun, electro-bass aura.
Robby Hauldren and Freddy Kennett of Louis The Child offer their take of the new tune, “Although this song was started years ago, it feels like it couldn’t be coming out at a better time. As our daily lifestyles adapt to the current state of the world, it seems to be the little things that mean the most right now. Things that we may take for granted in our normal lives seem so important and impactful now. This song was originally written by Jon Bellion and when we first heard the song we felt a connection with it. We dove in on the original production and reworked some lyrics with Jon until everything felt right (if you listen closely you can hear some of his original vocal layers in the chorus, drop and beatbox). We sent it to Chelsea and Quinn, who have been friends and collaborators of ours for years. Having shared so many great memories on the road, in the studio, and in our daily lives, it felt right to have them deliver these words and this message. We’re so happy to have this out in the world with them, and hope you are too.”
In the midst of uncertainty, Louis The Child has announced rescheduled dates for the forthcoming second phase of their tour. The Here For Now tour will include special guests including Big Wild, Jai Wolf, K.Flay, What So Not, Crooked Colours, EVAN GIIA, ilo ilo, MEMBA, and slenderbodies. All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new dates. Their full tour schedule can be viewed here.
