KASKADE RETURNS WITH HIGHLY ANTICIPATED ‘REDUX 004’ EP – [LISTEN]

Appropriately released on April 4th, Kaskade’s Redux 004 EP is out now via Arkade. With the Redux series being an annual release, this marks the highly anticipated 4th installment. Adhering to the theme, the EP consists of 4 beautifully constructed tracks.

Fans saw the release of the delicate and heart wrenching “Love Like That” early in March. The track features Dani Poppitt’s ethereal vocals, as it explores elements of love and heartbreak. Also released last month is “Sexy” with Kosha Dillz, which creates a groovy, hypnotic, dance floor vibe.

Fresh to our ears are “Feel It” and “Find Love”. The former exists in a tasteful and subtle soundscape, as the line “Can you feel it?” linger throughout. It’s sensible and ambient, something we’d love to hear in a club setting or even over dinner. “Find Love” bounces back to the familiar theme of beauty and pain in love. Captivating lyrics coupled with a soul-stirring melody frame an inspiring message for listeners.

Although once a year isn’t quite enough for new Redux from Kaskade, Redux 004 has showered us with enough love to last a lifetime. That’s in addition to the ten other studio albums that have helped shape his career. As one of the pioneers of the electronic music industry, Kaskade has already left his legacy.

Kaskade was the very first DJ to secure a residency in Las Vegas. In 2015, he was the sole electronic musician to headline Coachella. A year later, he performed in front of a crowd of 30,000 at LA’s Convention Center, marking the first dance music event in the history of the famous venue. His career has seen major venues across America sold out, in addition to countless other accomplishments.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
