Me and Nick have something special… our first set together got cancelled because of the weather but we took advantage and we made this song that we’re gonna play right now…” You start to hear the delicate sounds of a piano playing and you sense a rush of this beautiful euphoric feeling. As you hear the graceful vocals reverberating through the track and the soft chants of “just to feel something… just to feel something…” whispered in your ear- your body is shocked with a sensation of chills. Instantly, you feel a soul connection to the song.

A rush of emotions flood over you- reminding you of all the pain and struggles that you have faced that you actually feel it in your chest and stomach. Excision’s rumbling bass sounds starts to buildup launching into an aggressive drop that is intensified with I Prevail‘s contribution of the powerful yell, as well as the blaring and aggressive sound of instruments. In this moment, you are able to face your greatest fears. You are fueled by the powerful energy of  the relentless beat drops. You feel yourself transforming- although you feel fragile, you stay vulnerable because you believe that you are destined to evolve out of this adversity and experience comfort and joy.
