DON DIABLO RELEASES APOLOGY STATEMENT FOLLOWING INSENSITIVE VIDEO
A few hours ago Don Diablo released an extremely off-putting video depicting the world’s greatest tragedies of 2020. Some of the visuals included the start of coronavirus in Wuhan, the devastating Australian wildfires, and the heartbreaking helicopter crash that killed Kobe Bryant and his daughter. The caption read as follows: “WE are facing difficult times but WE are in this TOGETHER. Let’s stay strong, support each other and create an even better FUTURE on OUR beautiful planet! Drop a <3 if you are with me! #StaySafe.” Although Don Diablo probably didn’t have a negative intention, the video was extremely insensitive especially during the world crisis that we continue to face.
Apologies to those who thought the video I posted tonight was insensitive ?? Obviously it was intended to bring people together in this time of confusion and uncertainty. My fans and everyone else know my only goal will always be to spread positivity. Sorry again, love you all ❤️

Due to the high volume of negative feedback, the video has since been deleted across his social media platforms and Don Diablo has released an apologetic statement to his audience. Fans and producers alike were rather displeased with the video that Don Diablo released and weren’t shy with their responses.
In case you missed @DonDiablo’s completely tone deaf promotional/inspirational(?) video that features 3D renders of Australia in flames and Kobe’s helicopter crashing in to a hillside with his own music in the background – here it is.
It looks like a Modern Warfare cutscene. pic.twitter.com/5G0UD23W2r
