Although THE LASERS isn’t due for release until July, “You’ll Be OK” serves as a gentle teaser. Since its release on March 13th, the inspiring track has breathed a sense of hope into listeners. Although live music isn’t something we can find comfort in right now, songs like this one attempt to soothe our soul.

Featuring Annabel’s angelic voice, fans might recognize “You’ll Be OK” since it’s been played out at some of the world’s biggest festivals. Although many suspected it had been the 18 year old British singer on the vocals, it hadn’t been confirmed until now.

THE LASERS marks a brand new age in trance music. The release of this album will surely be a turning point, as Emery is easily dubbed one of the most iconic trance DJs to ever live. With it, he returns to his pre-dance music band days by replacing synths with instruments and really inserting his experience into the lyrics.

Emery has written every track on the album on his own. He states THE LASERS is “the best thing I’ve ever done.” With a long list of accomplishments under his belt, it’s hard to believe Emery‘s body of work could get any more impressive. This statement alone should keep fans on their toes until July.

Throughout years of producing and releasing hit after hit, Emery has accumulated 1.8 million monthly Spotify listeners. In addition, the famed artist has over 3 million followers on his social media accounts. He is currently planning to embark on a worldwide tour through the end of the year, although many dates are pending due to COVID-19.

For now, pre-save THE LASERS by Gareth Emery here. Listen to “You’ll Be OK” featuring Annabel below.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
