III Points Set To Proceed In May, Unveils Daily Line-Up
Although many festivals have announced their suspension or cancelation in the wake of COVID-19, Miami’s III Points stands strong as it moves toward its May 1st production date. As consumers of electronic music, this unforeseen pandemic has hurt not only industry professionals, but also the moral of EDM enthusiasts. Having something on the horizon, a festival in May at the end of all this madness, is the light at the end of the tunnel, a beacon of hope and normalcy.
In addition to its killer line up – featuring Friday night headliners The Strokes, Disclosure, Stereolab, Bedouin Danny Daze b2b Mall Grab, Sevdaliza, etc., and then Saturday night’s Robyn, Wu-Tang Clan, Kaytranada, Caribou, Chris Lake, Tycho, and Green Velvet – what makes III Points special is its immersive art and support of local artists. Located in the heart of Miami’s art district, Wynwood, the festival showcases the work of street artists via ubiquitous graffiti as well as the construction of art installments. It’s also important to note that the festival has slotted more than 40 local musicians to perform, providing platform for up-and-coming artists.
