PORTER ROBINSON RELEASES STUNNING NEW ELECTRONIC SINGLE “SOMETHING COMFORTING”- [LISTEN]
Porter Robinson recently made his reemergence on the music scene with an album announcement and the release of a beautifully intoxicating single “Get Your Wish”. The track came out amidst the artist’s public announcement of struggling for years with a creative standstill and heavy depression.
With a fandom that is undyingly dedicated, Porter has thousands waiting with full hearts for the rest of this new album entitled ‘Nuture’. Today the next piece of the album was shared with the world. Called “Something Comforting”, it is stunningly euphoric, peaceful, hopeful and immaculately Porter Robinson.
Along with the new single, Porter released a video speaking about his creative process with “Something Comforting” and reflects once more on the struggles he encountered with his music. Ironically enough, Porter floundered in confidence in continuing with what he was truly born to do: create music that inspires countless others to continue on through hardships.
“Something Comforting” is an exquisite mixture of Porter vocals, Porter melody and Porter drum & bass, resulting in a phenomenal product, leaving us with a tear in our eye and so much excitement for what’s to come.
