EVER AFTER TO PREMIERE SLANDER B2B SUBTRONICS + MORE ON 2020 LINEUP
Returning to Kitchener, Ontario for its sixth annual installment, Ever After Music Festival will highlight some of the hottest names in the bass music industry. This three day event will take place from February 12th-14th, 2020. Known for being a bass-centered festival, this initial lineup announcement feels like a breath of fresh air.
Speaking of bass, Ever After promises to deliver a PK Sound system which will bring over 750,000 watts of relentless bass throughout the weekend. Plus, the 2019 edition allowed attendees to bring cannabis onsite legally. This made Ever After the first major music festival of the liking. Each attendee had been permitted to bring 10 pre-rolled grams into the venue, allowing up to 28 grams in total. The famed policy will also be put into effect for this year’s edition.
It’s hard to ignore Friday’s headlining act, the world premiere of Slander back to back Subtronics. This special performance will mark the first time anyone’s seen these two play together in the history of dubstep. The first night will also include massive acts like Liquid Stranger and Space Laces b2b Moody Good. Dubloadz’s house music alias, Houseloadz is also scheduled to perform on Friday.
On the topic of house, the Ever After lineup features a massive representation of some of the best house artists in the scene. Habstrakt, Walker & Royce, and Chris Lorenzo are just a few featured who never fail to bring the heat.
With Rezz headlining Saturday, expect some dark, hypnotizing space beats to round off the night. It will be here second time back at the festival, with the first being one of her first ever festival performances back in 2016. Nora En Pure, Svdden Death b2b Eptic, Kompany, and Calcium among others also make this lineup hard to ignore.
Zeds Dead will headline the final night of the festival. Plus, Svdden Death will perform again, this time delivering his highly sought-after VOYD set. Marauda and Midnight Tyrannosaurus b2b Trampa might bring two of the most violent sets of the weekend. And with G-Rex, Lucii, Dirt Monkey, and Space Jesus scheduled for Sunday, there’s no telling how weird things might get.
For the first time ever, the festival will be offering a payment plan for hopeful attendees. Ever After is offering a low down payment of $66 CAD for GA ($50 USD), $71.06 for Rabbit Hole and $87.31 for VIP. When the initial down payment is made, you’ll be able to secure the current tier pricing for your ticket. Over a five month period, you’ll be automatically charged a series of small payments. Act as soon as you can, since ticket prices will definitely increase as tiers sell out. A variety of camping and hotel packages are also available for purchase.
Those attendees with camping passes will gain free entry to Ever After’s pre-party event on Thursday, June 11th. Stay tuned for the pre-party lineup announcement which is still to come. Tickets for Ever After are now available for purchase here. Camping packages are available here.
“After months of deliberation we’re incredibly proud to present our lineup for EAMF 2020. We worked hard on this, and this year’s talent has a little something for everyone, including the return of Toronto natives REZZ and Zeds Dead. We’re looking forward to our 6th year in Kitchener and fans can expect a fully immersive 3 day experience unlike any other” – Gabriel Mattacchione, President of Beyond Oz Productions
