THE GLITCH MOB TO EMBARK ON CELEBRATORY NORTH AMERICAN TOUR
Just in time to celebrate a full decade since the release of their debut album Drink The Sea on Glass Air Records, The Glitch Mob has announced 36-date tour. Titled DRINK THE SEA X, the headlining tour will touch down in major cities across North America.
The Glitch Mob hones in, “This year marks the ten-year anniversary of our first album, Drink The Sea. We have been reflecting on how much the album means to us and to our fans throughout this decade-long journey. We are hitting the road with a reimagined live version of the album and brand-new audio-visual experience.”
Back in 2010, Drink The Sea helped shape the evolution of the LA beat scene. Many electronic music fans today will credit their induction into the scene to this monumental album. In fact, the album even developed somewhat of a cult following having sold over 100,000 copies. To date, it has surpassed 200 million online streams. So, it just feels right that LA-based Justin Boreta, Ed Ma (edIT), and Josh Mayer (ooah) aka The Glitch Mob embark on this celebratory run across Canada and the U.S.
Austin, Atlanta, D.C, Brooklyn, Chicago, Nashville, Seattle, Toronto, Denver, LA and many others will get to experience a one-of-a-kind set, highlighting the artistic journey The Glitch Mob has been on throughout the years. The trio will bring along Ivy Lab, one of the hottest bass duos in the game right now. The London-based artists are currently getting ready for their performance on Holy Ship! Wrecked which will take place at the end of the month.
The Glitch Mob is looking forward to beginning a brand new decade by reflecting on their most unforgettable moments from the past. From playing major festivals like Lightning In A Bottle, Shambhala and Electric Forest, Coachella, Lollapalooza, Reading and Leeds, Ultra Music Festival, and a sensational closing set a Governor’s Ball NYC 2018, the future is only looking up for the band.
An exclusive artist pre sale is already live, and tickets for the general public will go on sale this Friday (January 17th). Tickets are available for purchase here.
