LIGHTNING IN A BOTTLE ANNOUNCES EARLY ARRIVAL TAKEOVERS + MORE
Preparing for its Memorial Day weekend takeover at Buena Vista Lake, Lightning in a Bottle has made some exciting announcements. Among those are early arrival takeover performances from the Desert Hearts crew and Soulection Co-Founder Joe Kay. In addition, we’ve gotten some insight into the venue map as well as dates to expect the official lineup announcement.
Lightning in a Bottle remains as one of the world’s preeminent independent music and arts festivals. For those arriving to the grounds early, the seven hour lakeside kick-off will get the party started on Thursday. Attendees will be welcomed by west-coast house and techno brigade Desert Hearts crew members Mikey Lion, Lee Reynolds, Marbs, and Porky. The festival hosted the same mind-blowing takeover for its 2018 edition. Those who attended will attest for the high energy levels Desert Hearts delivered.
However, the Thursday night madness will continue. CEO and founder or LA-based electronic music collective Soulection, Joe Kay promises to bless Lightning in a Bottle with his four hour takeover at the bass-heavy environment of The Stacks. With two massive takeovers already planned for the pre-party, we’re excited to see what further announcements the festival puts forth.
Hopeful attendees can expect Lightning in a Bottle to drop their lineup in January. In the meantime, take a look at the new bird’s eye view venue map below.
