BOSTON-BASED BOSLYK DROPS DEBUT EP

This November, up and coming Boston-based group boslyk dropped their debut EP, “Lost and Found.” The duo, also known as Ryan Chiasson and Andrew Wilkins, started off as childhood best friends, playing tag at recess long before making bops. As a group, they’re usually known for their high energy bass, however, this EP shows their softer side while still delivering a style true to electronic music.

The punk inspired tracks are reminiscent of that sweet spot in music from the early 2000’s – the one with fauxhawks, electric guitars, and Stacy’s mom. The final song on the EP “Better Off,” featuring vocals by Sarah McSherry, is a perfect mash up of a poppy break-up hit and melodic wubs. Catch this duo live at “The Fresh Rave” on December 5th at Sonia in Cambridge, MA., and stream their new EP linked below.

Heralding from sunny South Florida, I am a proud Florida Woman. In my free time, I surf the swamp, wrangle gators, open fan mail, and tend to my pets. In the wild, I'm most often spotted at immersive art spaces, step tappin' in a shadowed corner of the club, hater blockerz on, totally incognito as your resident EDM spice girl. Although I generally tout my spicy side, if there's one thing I'd love to impress upon the world, it would be this: it's not a waste to give love to those who do not deserve it – it's a gift. The world would be a better place if we gave, in kindness and in mercy, to those who need it most with no expectation in return.
