MANILA KILLA, PLUKO & ILO ILO DROP INSPIRING SINGLE ‘ON THE WAY’: LISTEN HERE

Manila Killa, pluko and ilo ilo have each showcased their talents in “on the way”, a collaborative effort released via Moving Castle. An artful future bass melody, this track pumps love and good vibes into our souls. It serves as the final release of the year for all three artists, allowing it to leave its mark on fans.

With both ilo ilo and pluko having joined Manila Killa on his spring and fall tour, it only seems right that “on the way” serves as the final chapter to their journey. Each of the artists have experienced career peaks in 2019, so this euphonious creation seems like the proper way to celebrate. It it’s simplest form “on the way” is a love song. Its sound mimics the fluttery feeling you get in your heart when you’ve fallen head over heels in love. It’s pure, it’s sweet, and it’s the perfect ode to the beauty of life.

It’s pretty clear that Manila Killa, pluko and ilo ilo make the ideal trio in the studio. Their sounds are heavily compatible, while still leaving enough room for individuality to be explored. However, besides the music, the message is something that really captivated us. There’s something wholesome and innocent about it. ilo ilo better explains, “we write a lot of songs about heartbreak. This isn’t one of those songs. We wanted to find a cool way to bridge our three sonic worlds.” From what first began as a studio session between Manila Killa and ilo ilo, it later turned into a full blown collaboration between the three acts, taking shape in the form of a charming single that Manila Killa claims “came together pretty quickly.”
