The Mau5 Is Back With A New Single Inspired By The CUBEV3- Listen Here
To coincide his current tour, helmed by the infamous cubv3, earlier this week Deadmau5 dropped the single “SATRN” and, in simple terms, it comes across as a Syfy homage to his most famous works such as “Ghosts ‘n’ Stuff” and “Monophobia.”
The track starts with the continuous harmony of simple chords before incorporating purposeful, synthesized keyboard strikes. After a little over 2 minutes of trippy Planet Earth vibes, deadmau5 builds momentum to crescendo into the trademark house beats we all know and love. The rest of the track acts as a portal to outer space, to the upside down, but not once throughout the track’s six minute duration does it feel monotonous or anticlimactic, rather there’s levels to it. It traverses the galaxy, beginning with a calming opening, transitioning to hypnotic techno, and then fading away, into the stars, via a refrain of its ethereal beginnings.
