INDULGE IN MADEON’S DIVINE NEW ALBUM ‘GOOD FAITH’- LISTEN HERE

Madeon’s biggest career move is definitely the recent comeback he’s made to touring and producing. Well, that’s of course besides that time he released ‘Shelter’ with Porter Robinson back in 2016. These two best friends changed electronic music forever, and Madeon has chosen to keep his legacy going strong.

When he dropped ‘All My Friends’, we took it as the official announcement for Madeon’s return to music. He’s since dropped numerous singles, leaving us quivering in anticipation to hear a more complete body of work. Now, a full length album Good Faith has fallen right into our laps. Or should we say, it’s been given to us as a gift.

This sequence of creation is the defining facet of a spiritual cleanse. As each of the 10 tracks delicately flow into the next, it almost feels as if we’re ascending into a blissful abyss. Afterall, with tracks titled ‘Nirvana’ and ‘Miracle’, what else would we expect? Madeon stretches sound into something that can truly be felt in the soul, rather than just heard.

Speaking about the new album, Madeon says, “I’ve been living this album every day for years and now it’s time to share it. I wanted to capture the colors of this mysterious, sometimes dangerous joy I’ve been feeling in episodes lately. Those moments where reality feels more colorful, more profound, more spiritual, more fun than usual. I tried to illustrate that by welcoming into my world the sounds of humans, from large choirs to soloists, children and live musicians.”

He continues, “I also wanted to make an album that was more of an artist album than a producer album if that makes sense – so I wrote all the songs and am singing most of it. I grew from a teenager to an adult in the making of this album and my hope is that you find something to cherish there! I’ve been living in the Good Faith era for a couple of years and now it’s ours.”

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
