FORBIDDEN KINGDOM FESTIVAL DROPS LINEUP, ADDS ANOTHER STAGE + MORE

Come 2020, Forbidden Kingdom will return home to Sunset Cove Amphitheater in Boca Raton. After a wildly successful inaugural year, this new edition promises to make the experience even more worthwhile. The festival will take place on February 15th and 16th under the warm sunshine of south Florida.

What’s New

We had an absolute blast being a part of Forbidden Kingdom’s first year. With their dedication to fans in mind, the festival’s team took your recommendations and turned them into reality. Two of those major suggestions were additional hydration areas and a wider variety of bass music. After all, with the addition of a brand new stage this year, there will be plenty of room for pushing genre boundaries.

Many fans have been wondering how Forbidden Kingdom can promise such a large physical expansion, since last year’s grounds were confined to the amphitheater. This year, the festival area will be expanded throughout the park in order to host multiple activities and chill areas for guests.

Considering genres, the festival plans to expand its reach to more than just fans of dubstep. Slo V – Senior Creative Director of Forbidden Kingdom expresses the value the “Forbidden Tale” brings into the brand and the project as a whole. “This year we will make it more friendly for the fans to interact with the story without having to read over 50 pages so that they can have a better understanding of the story and a better experience overall once they enter the gates of The Forbidden Kingdom. We also want people who love all genres of music to be able to enjoy Forbidden Kingdom not just bass music fans.”

The Lineup

Not to mention, the biggest change for the 2020 edition of Forbidden Kingdom is the lineup expansion. This year’s roster is twice the size of that in 2019, featuring more than 38 acts. Check out the full lineup poster below.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
