The Glitch Mob Enlists 1788-L For Mysterious Collab

Recently, The Glitch Mob has been in cahoots with rising talent in order to collaborate with and showcase lesser known names. Since releasing two massive singles, first with LICK and then ZEKE BEATS, The Glitch Mob has decided to borrow the talents of 1788-L for another hit ‘Momentary Lapse’ .

The Glitch Mob

Out now on Glass Air Records, the sensational track develops a mystifying chord progression as a screechy bassline is on the horizon. The ominous mood and experimental sound carry out a gritty electro house style. Both artists are known for their success in transforming glitch-infused noises into harmonious music. Put them both together, and you’ve got a fierce concoction of electric vibes!

The Glitch Mob describes their recent joint efforts as “a series of collaborations with producers we admire and creatively vibe with”. All three singles deliver an effortless blending of each growing producers’ unique soundscapes against The Glitch Mob’s seasoned backdrop. “It’s been a blast for us this year to focus on working with younger artists that we are super into. We felt a creative synergy with 1788-L ever since we first heard his music. We asked him to remix ‘Disintegrate Slowly’ from our last album and after hearing that we knew we had to create something fresh together.”

Mysterious producer 1788-L just recently finished up a song with Kayzo titled ‘ARK’ which continues to demonstrate his versatility. Back in 2018, his remix of ‘Disintegrate Slowly’ had been nominated for DJ Mag’s prestigious ‘Best of North America’ awards for ‘Best Remix’. The Glitch Mob seems to have made the right choice when enlisting 1788-L for this grand task. Hopefully, this string of singles sets the tone for the next step in The Glitch Mob’s musical journey.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
