WAREHOUSE OF HORRORS HAUNTS KNOCKDOWN CENTER NYC

Last weekend BangOn!NYC hosted one of the most sought after Halloween parties that New York City has to offer. This year the event was held at Knockdown Center, an old factory building that has stood for over 100 years. Knockdown Center’s primary use now is an innovative venue that hosts culture and art events that complement the unique abandoned atmosphere it has to offer. Warehouse of Horrors completely transformed the space into a haunted house turned music festival.  Besides the industry-leading headliners the event had a lot of visual and interactive installations to offer. The three stages offered plenty of choices for festival-goers to explore. Warehouse of Horrors was not only a celebration of leading electronic music but an all inclusive haunting experience.

Among headliners were tastemakers The Glitch Mob, Justin Martin, Claude VonStroke, San Holo, Ekali, The Golden Pony and more. The Glitch Mob gave a chilling performance on the Warehouse Stage on Friday evening. The trio just released the second song in a collaborative series project with Zeke Beats called ‘Lazer Vision’.  Warehouse of Horrors was a perfect setting to celebrate the release of such a great track.

Another notable performance of the weekend was Dirtybird kingpin Claude VonStroke.  Anyone familiar with Claude knows that his sets never disappoint.  The audience was eagerly awaiting his performance all weekend. Warehouse of Horrors saw a full Dirtybird takeover for Saturday with performances from Justin Martin, Justin Jay, and VNSSA on the Warehouse Stage.

Overall, BangOn!NYC successfully took Warehouse of Horrors to the next level for the 2019 edition. Not only did was the event carefully crafted but festival attendees put an impressive amount of effort with their own costumes. With ethereal music performances, haunting art installations, and a wide range of activity offerings the event saw massive success.
