HAYDEN JAMES CLOSES ‘BETWEEN US’ USA TOUR AT WEBSTER HALL
Australian tastemaker Hayden James just concluded the US leg of his ‘Between US’ tour at the coveted Webster Hall in New York City this past weekend. The tour follows his debut EP release ‘Between Us’ featuring ten original tracks that have amassed millions of streams collectively. Much like the tracks on the EP, his performance was refreshingly unique and further defined him as an artist. His stage production was simple yet effective, three LED squares descending in size to bring the focus on him. Although he probably could have sold out a bigger venue in New York City, the intimate atmosphere that Webster Hall provides created the perfect vibe for the ‘Between Us’ show.
Hayden played the album in its entirety, each with a slight club edit to enhance the live performance. Additionally, he brought out a few of the vocalists on the EP including Nat Dunn on ‘Favours’, FARR on ‘Lost To You’, and Boy Matthews on ‘Just Friends’. While showcasing his most recent release he also played his classic favorites like ‘Just a Lover’ and the iconic ‘Something About You’. Hayden James performance was both stimulating and cohesive. The ‘Between Us’ album and tour positions Hayden at the forefront of his genre. With the US portion of the tour complete, Hayden moves on to several more performances in Europe. We are extremely optimistic and excited for the future of Hayden James.
